Role summary: The Traffic Manager role reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for ensuring that depot service level delivery and collection targets are achieved in line with budget whilst ensuring that we deliver the correct service level to all our Customers in adherence with company compliance processes.
Key responsibilities Manage and produce daily and weekly reports as required.
Ensuring collection conformance to standards Controls all key controls for vehicles.
Monitors and reviews operational performance and takes timely action to address any issues.
Ensure all company legal requirements are met.
Close management of sub-contractors to ensure an effective and efficient service is provided in line with budgeted cost.
Manage a robust pre-brief and de-brief process is maintained at all times.
Route contingency planning Continually strive to improve service levels and reduce cost Health and safety management Manage Traffic team effectively Essential criteria for this role Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry Additional information on this role If you have previous experience of managing teams in fast-paced mail/distribution environments and have the ambition to develop your leadership skills, then we would love to hear from you.
