Meet our team: https://oilmar.com/oilmar-team/ Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Trading Manager specializing in marine fuel trading to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end trading operations, developing trading strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
This role requires a deep understanding of the marine fuel market, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities: Trading Operations Management: Execute trades in marine fuels, including bunker fuel, MGO, and other related products.
Monitor and analyze market trends, price movements, and supply-demand dynamics.
Ensure compliance with trading policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management protocols.
Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective trading strategies to maximize profitability.
Identify and exploit market opportunities to gain a competitive edge.
Conduct regular market analysis and provide strategic insights to senior management.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Negotiate terms and conditions of trades to ensure favorable outcomes.
Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries and issues promptly.
Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of trades.
Optimize supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of trades and transactions.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in marine fuel trading or a related field.
Proven track record of successful trading and strategy development in the marine fuel market.
In-depth knowledge of the marine fuel market, including products, pricing, and regulations.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in trading platforms and relevant software tools.
Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
