We have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Tradesperson to join us!
In this role you will work across the university both unassisted, and as part of a team of trades and handypersons colleagues and external contractors, depending on the works being undertaken.
The Electrical Tradesperson is responsible for carrying out minor installations, maintenance and reactive repairs on the electrical infrastructure and services across the estate.
To succeed in this opportunity: you will work on your own initiative in the main but also as part of the wider Estates team.
you will demonstrate your exceptional communication and customer care skills, as you will responsible for completing tasks and acting on queries and situations that arise daily, in a professional and friendly manner.
you may, at times, work a flexible working week outside of the agreed shift pattern.
This could include occasional early starts, late finishes or weekend work as you will be part of the out of hours call-out rota within the trades team.
The successful candidate should possess and be able to evidence that they hold: a City and Guilds of London Institute Certificate NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or hold City and Guilds part 1 and 2 in Electrical Installations a full UK driving licence.
