Trades & Labour Operations Manager Somerset AA Euro Group is currently recruiting a Trades & Labour Operations Manager to co-ordinate AA Euro Trades & Labour Operatives placed on a multi-billion pound nuclear project in Somerset.
This role will involve extensive coordination with our resourcing teams and the successful candidate will have daily interaction with our clients on this project.
Strong experience of managing large numbers of Mechanical Trades is a highly desirable.
In this role, you will focus specifically on Mechanical Trades & Labour recruitment.
You will oversee candidate generation utilising our local and international resourcing teams, build strong relationships with AA Euro Group site labour and with our clients.
Responsibilities: Coordinate the onboarding of Trades & Labour workers to site.
Manage the recruitment process of Trades and Labour.
Conduct screening interviews and verify qualifications of Tradespeople.
Ensuring operatives comply with HMRC and CSCS regulations.
Liaise with our clients daily in relation to performance of our teams on site.
Ensure that all Health & Safety requirements on site are understood and adhered to.
Contacting clients regarding upcoming new projects, leading the tendering process to win new business.
Ensure weekly timesheets are gathered in a timely manner to ensure payment of workers.
Communicate with our local and European offices in relation to site staffing requirements.
Ensure that all employees on site are registered with relevant unions and pension schemes.
Requirements: 5+ years experience in managing high volume Trades & Labour provision.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Strong ability to multitask.
Comfortable working with multiple groups within the business.
This role will require regular visits to the site in Somerset.
