Trade Settlements Analyst London 42k + bonus and Bens You will be joining a small team that cover the whole remit of Global Settlements.
This includes the complete trade lifecycle from order inception through to final settlement of stock and cash across a variety of asset classes and markets i.e., CREST / DTC / Euroclear.
Primarily your job role will be covering all aspect of post trade settlement support, but ultimately you will be exposed to all elements of Global Settlements as cross training is an ongoing priority within the team.
The main purpose of this role is to aid in the settlement of International Equities including FX transactions About the Role The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following: Monitoring Global markets checking reports, identifying, investigating, and resolving all settlement matching issues and liaising with relevant market makers as necessary.
Monitoring all exception reports that arise throughout the complete settlement cycle updating/amending data in the relevant Global markets custody portals.
General trade amendments and mailbox monitoring Error analysis, resolution, and implementation and liaising with the relevant departments, including analysis and management of reconciliation breaks.
Following CASS rules to support compliance and audit processes and escalating issues as required.
Formulating detailed written response to various stake holders.
FX calculations and trade input About You We are looking for a team player who perseveres to get the right outcome and uses their expertise to deliver on obligations.

Operational settlements knowledge.
Ideally you will have knowledge of FIGARO our operating system, BNP's NEOLINK and BoNY's Nexen portals however experience within these software is preferable not mandatory.
This is a high-volume desk with tight daily deadlines therefore the ability to work accurately under time pressure is crucial, additionally time management and organisational skills are also key.
A strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is needed, with a focus on Excel/Outlook/MS Teams Good knowledge of percentage calculations and general numerical formula's.
