Town Planner

The Company OXBO are partnering with a leading UK Solar & BESS who are looking to grow out their in house planning team in the UK in order to progress the development of their Solar & BESS projects throughout the country.
Responsibilities Supporting the UK development team with all current and future planning processes.
Working closely with the team on identifying suitable development opportunities around connection opportunities.
Managing planning consultants and other contractors appointed by the company to assist in the planning process.
Reviewing team-originated land opportunities from a planning viewpoint, in cooperation with the team and their input regarding aspects of long-term requirements around construction, operation and asset management.
Managing key stakeholders through the planning process and into the site construction and operational phase.
Attend industry and discipline events, webinars and shows Requirements Detailed understanding of the UK planning system.
Knowledge and experience of the TCPA application process Prior experience of working in utility scale solar and/or BESS.
Experience of project management and stakeholder engagement.
Chartered status and Full Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute or other relevant professional body (or working towards membership).
Excellent written, communication and organisational skills.
