Land Surveyor / Engineering Surveyor / 3D point cloud models / Surveying / Topographical / Building Surveys / Construction Projects / Residential Projects SmartPro are seeking a skilled and dedicated Topographic Surveyor to join our client in Cardiff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting topographical and measured building surveys, creating 3D point cloud models, monitoring and performing setting out tasks.
This role involves working with advanced surveying equipment and software to produce various types of surveys to our clients.
Working Conditions: Typical working hours: 40 hours per week with travel required to various sites across UK.
A company vehicle will be provided.
Responsibilities: Conduct topographical and measured building surveys.
Perform setting out tasks for various construction and residential projects.
Undertake monitoring on various sites.
Operate GPS and other surveying equipment.
Develop 3D point cloud models.
Utilise surveying and CAD software to prepare detailed survey drawings.
Collaborate with clients and the team to ensure project specifications are met.
Travel to different sites as required; a company vehicle will be provided.
Requirements: Qualification in surveying or a related field (preferred but not essential).
Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Proficiency in CAD & surveying software.
Experience with Trimble equipment and laser scanning (preferred but not essential).
Valid driver's license.
Skills and Competencies: Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary between £35,000 to £40,000 dependant on experience.
