Toolmaker (Senior)

JOB- Toolmaker (Senior) LOCATION- Middlesex TERM- Permanent SALARY- £50,000 - £55,000 per annum DOE We are looking for a Senior Toolmaker on a permanent basis in the Middlesex area with experience in manufacture of Injection Mould tools.
The main duties will be to repair, modify and maintain existing production tooling.
The Senior Toolmaker will ideally have the following attributes: Experienced or apprentice time served Comfortable with EDM techniques Read Technical Engineering drawings CNC shop experience beneficial Abrasive wheels regulation certified Able to verbally communicate effectively at all levels Injection moulded processes and tooling experience Excellent attention to detail The Senior Toolmaker role will involve: Manufacture new tooling and ancillary spares to support production activity Repairing, modifying & maintaining existing production tooling Operate all tooling & equipment safely Use of milling machines, lathes & grinders Maintain high standard of cleanliness Producing work with high quality surface finish Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Ensure correct labelling of tools Good housekeeping to 5S standards Log completed tool maintenance and repair to databases If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
