Tool Maker

Job Title - Toolmaker Salary - Up to 32k Location - Peterborough Hours - Mon - Fri 8am - 4:30pm Purpose of the Toolmaker role: Our client is looking for a Toolmaker to be able to work on injection moulding tools to a high standard.
Main duties and responsibilities of a Toolmaker: Ensure all duties are performed in a safe and efficient manner within the parameters of current Health and Safety Legislation (HASAW Act 1974) To maintain mould tools.
To be able to use the overhead crane safely.
(Training will be given) To work the required hours when needed to ensure production demands are met.
Undertake any other duties as necessary to fulfil the needs of the job and its objective as and when requested by the Tool Room Manager / Supervisor.
To work on any of the production sites as and when required.
Experience/knowledge requirements for a Toolmaker: Previous experience as a toolmaker.
Able to work from Drawings.
Good organisational skills.
Ability to work under minimum supervision.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure.
Self - motivated individual.
Possess excellent attention to detail.
