Skills Development Coach - Fire and Security Systems Blackburn, Lancashire Permanent Full Time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday Salary £31,500 - £33,500 Benefits include 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 32 days in accordance with service, birthday leave, opportunity to purchase up to an additional 5 days holiday per year, contributory pension scheme, life insurance based on 4 x annual salary, annual CPD days and opportunities for career development and progression, modern facilities, family friendly policies, scope for hybrid working, free parking on and off site, Our training provider is a large independent training provider based in Blackburn and is owned by the University of Central Lancashire.

We are seeking to appoint a Skills Development Coach/Tutor - Fire and Security to join our clients Engineering learning team.
This rare position is focused on supporting our future Fire Systems Engineers, imparting your invaluable skills, knowledge and behaviours to shape them into exceptionally talented, knowledgeable, experienced and fully qualified employees.
Do you have a teaching qualification ?
if not, full training will be provided as part of your role.
As part of this exciting and unique dual position, you will deliver classroom-based theory and practical sessions and you will also work with a case load of Fire Systems Apprentices and their employers.
This includes local SMEs and some of the nations largest Fire Systems employers.
This will involve regular face to face meetings at employer sites, therefore it is essential that the successful candidate will hold a full, clean driving licence.
We will need you to hold Subject specialist vocational qualification (e.g.
fire and security/emergency systems/ electrical), minimum level 3.
Minimum GCSE in English and Mathematics grade C and above.
NVQ level 3 minimum in Fire and Security apprenticeship.
L3 Assessor Award (or willing to work towards) L3 Teaching Qualification (or willing to work towards) Or Apprenticeship including City & Guilds 1882 or equivalent City & Guilds Electronic Security and Emergency Systems 1853, 1852, 1851 or 1850 If you're ready to inspire learners and create impactful outcomes, apply now !
