Cumbria Health are recruiting for a number of salaried GPs to work at our treatment centre at Furness General Hospital, and are pleased to offer Tier 2 Visa Sponsorship for eligible candidates. We are experienced in completing and working with Tier 2 candidates.
Our General Practitioners form an integral part of the Cumbria Health team, accountable to the Chief Executive and Medical Director. As a Cumbria Health GP, you will be responsible for providing high quality primary care services to the population of Cumbria, in an out of hours setting.
The posts available are part time, averaging 10-30 hours per week over a 4 week rota. However, full time could be considered for the right candidate. Each post is for Out of Hours shift pattern and comprises of a range of hours primarily night shifts.

Provide medical care in accordance with Cumbria Health on Calls quality standards.
Prescribe and administer medicines in accordance with the Medicines Management procedures.
To participate in and support the electronic methods of data collection and record management whilst ensuring appropriate communication with all professionals.
Produce clinical records in accordance with the quality standards and to enable full clinical details to be supplied to patients' GPs by the start of the next working day.
