KiddyKare is supporting a small, independent setting in Reading as they are looking for a fun loving knowledgeable Third in charge and SENCO.
Working within a busy setting with EAL & children on IEPs.
Working hours are 38-40 hours per week, 51 weeks of the year with a salary of around £29,000.

You'll take responsibility for the whole nursery in the absence of the Manager and Deputy Manager.
You'll be the go-to for any safeguarding concerns or general queries from your colleagues or parents, and you'll be present across all rooms making sure that standards are maintained, and everyone is happy The Third in Charge role goes hand in hand with still being a Room Leader, it offers a brilliant opportunity to develop your leadership skills, and you'll need to be a real team player that can make quick decisions when needed.
Youll be a team player ensuring that you and your team meet the unique needs of each child, leading your room team to plan, organise and execute engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Youll ensure the educators in your classroom take ownership of observing and assessing their key children and youll support them in setting goals for each child.
But its not just about the children - youll be a role model for excellence, accountable for your team following standards and driving the growth, development and progress of your team.
Ensuring all practitioners in the setting understand their responsibilities to children with SEN and the settings approach to identifying and meeting SEN Advising and supporting colleagues Ensuring parents are closely involved throughout and that their insights inform action taken by the setting, and Liaising with professionals or agencies beyond the setting What we're looking for It is essential that you hold a relevant childcare qualification, level 3 minimum.
Previous experience either managing a room or team within a nursery.
A sound understanding of the EYFS.
Thorough knowledge of Safeguarding procedures.
