Job summary We are recruiting for a Theatre Team Manager who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.The role is part clinical and non-clinical therefore it is essential to be experienced in these areas as well to have the ability to organise, train and develop the team to address the elevated need presently and in the future.You will care for patients undergoing clinical / peri-operative procedures by leading effectively within the multi-disciplinary theatre team, and to have responsibility for the standard of service and patient care delivered.At the heart of everything we do are our core values:Include,Respect, andImprove.

Main duties of the job Maintain health, safety and the control of infection in clinical work areas.Plan, implement and evaluate the peri-operative care of patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Ensure the provision of research-based care.Receive, transfer and position patients for clinical procedures.Store, prepare and administer prescribed drugs to patients in accordance with Trust Policy and monitor the effects of drugs on patients.Prepare, monitor and maintain materials and equipment for clinical procedures.
