Theatre Nurse / ODP - Private Hospital Location:  Norwich Position:  Theatre Nurse / ODP   Service:  General Hospital Care:  Theatre - Scrub / Orthopaedic Scrub Salary:  £35,000 - £38,000 per annum (Band 6 ) negotiable depending on experience Hours:  Full time Contract type:  Permanent About the role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Theatre Nurse / ODP to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Norwich.
The hospital has state of the art facilities, and this is an excellent opportunity for a Theatre Nurse / ODP to join their friendly theatre team.

The service offers a range of services and procedures including orthopaedic, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT and general surgery.
Duties and responsibilities You will be working as part of the theatre team as a Scrub Nurse / ODP and responsible for the following; Support across a variety of operations including Orthopaedics, joint replacements, plastics, gyne, ENT and general Prepare patients for surgery and caring for patients undergoing procedures Review patient charts and confirm data Ensure medical equipment is prepared for surgery Monitor patients condition throughout surgery Cover Anaesthetic duties as and when required Supporting patients through their recovery period post-surgery Pass equipment to surgeon Who we're looking for Be NMC/ HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions Eligibility to live and work in the UK At least 2 years UK experience in scrub in the UK is essential Experience working under minimal supervision Passion for high quality care Excellent communication skills Benefits: Employees are offered a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to: 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays Competitive annual salary Employer and employee contributory pension with flexible retirement options Reward platform - discount and cashback for over 100 retailers Excellent career progression opportunities On-going training and career development Friendly working environment Free Bupa wellness screening Private medical insurance Life assurance Free Parking How to Apply: Person Specification:  All applicants for the role of Theatre Nurse / ODP must have a valid NMC / HCPC Registration with no restrictions and full eligibility to live and work in the UK.
