Job Summary
A welcoming and innovative secondary school in Loughborough is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide tailored support for students with special educational needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team committed to ensuring every student thrives.
Full-time position starting ASAP Support students with learning and emotional needs in both academic and social contexts Opportunities for career progression and professional development Responsibilities and Duties Work one-on-one and in small groups with SEN students, supporting their academic and social development.
Assist in implementing targeted interventions to meet individual learning and emotional needs.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCo, and parents to monitor progress and ensure consistent support.
Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Help prepare resources and activities tailored to the needs of SEN students.
Qualifications and Skills Experience in SEN support roles, preferably in a secondary school setting.
A positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Enhanced DBS check and the legal right to work in the UK.
