The Best Connection | Weekend Lgv Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver

The Best connection group LTD Group is currently recruiting for Dedicated Weekend Class 1 drivers in the Stoke-on-Trent Area.
We're looking for dedicated weekend drivers to support our client through peak period.
Shift start times vary between 13:00pm & 15:00pm, the role will involve trunking to distrubution centres.
You have the option to work just Saturtday and Sunday or Friday through to Monday.
Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a Class 1 HGV to transport timber products to various locations Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and road-worthiness Comply with all road traffic regulations and company policies Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on delivery sites Adhere to delivery schedules while maintaining a high level of safety Requirements: Valid Class 1 HGV (C+E) licence Assessment required prior to starting work Maximum 6 points (No DR10/DD10).
Up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and tachograph card Strong awareness of health and safety regulations Excellent driving record with no major infringements Ability to work independently and manage time effectively What We Offer:
