Testing Technician

Smart4Chemicals are recruiting for a Physical Testing Technician for one of our clients based in the Hertfordshire area.

As a Physical Testing Technician you will be working in the materials testing team and testing various materials on a daily basis.

To be considered for the role of Physical Testing Technician you must have previous experience in physical testing techniques such as impact, fatigue and hardness testing.
Any other testing techniques will be beneficial.

Role requirements: Previous experience with a variety of physical testing techniques.
HND/HNC or a degree in chemistry, materials science or a similar field will be highly beneficial but not essential.
Any experience in a role that involves physical testing of materials will be beneficial.
Role responsibilities: Work alongside other technicians in the Materials Testing Team to hit workloads and targets on a daily basis.
Mentor any new starters in the team on all aspects of physical testing.
Adhere to any internal testing standards in order to meet customer specifications.
