Project One has been established to achieve the transformation of the support services functions at Norse.
The transformation focuses on elements such as technology, process, data, and people change.
The recent implementation of phase one of the project successfully achieved the transformation of the HR Services and Recruitment functions at Norse Group.
We are now progressing Phase Two including the implementation of a PeopleXD (Access) Payroll and Workforce Management solution.
As such we seeking to recruit a Payroll System Test Lead on a fixed 6-month contract to be situated at our head office in Norwich.
The Role: Reporting to the Norse Payroll Project Manager as our Payroll System Test Lead it will be your responsibility to work collaboratively across the Payroll and HR functions to ensure the new PeopleXD Payroll system accurately pays our employees and meets the needs of Norse.
This will include planning and managing testing of the PeopleXD solution.
You will actively engage with the Project Team, BAU team and Access to ensure the system is robustly tested You will therefore be responsible for: Developing a detailed plan to complete the testing of the Payroll and Workforce Management modules of PeopleXD Producing a detailed resource plan for testing resources Capture testing progress against the plan.
Recording and reporting defects and issues to Access including required re-testing Through the use of dashboards reporting progress on a regular basis to the Payroll Project Manager and other stakeholders Our Successful Candidate: We are looking for someone who has experience of payroll, testing and managing or introducing systems.
Alongside this experience it is mandatory that you can demonstrate: Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
A flexible approach with the ability to work across all levels building internal and external relationships.
You will have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.

The role is being offered on a full time, six-month fixed term contract working 37 hours per week, on site at Unity Place, Norwich.
(Monday to Friday).
