We are looking for a Test Strategy Lead to define and implement a comprehensive quality strategy across Integration Services' products.
You will collaborate closely with our test engineers, development teams, and leadership to set the direction for quality assurance, and establish a testing framework that aligns with our product goals.
Key Responsibilities: Develop a strategic testing framework and quality assurance roadmap that aligns with our product development objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and test engineers, to define the testing framework.
Integration Services' products are used by multiple teams.
Establish a testing approach that covers dependencies across those other teams and supports their own testing when onboarding to Integration products.
Provide leadership and guidance to ensure test engineers adopt the strategy and adhere to best practices.
Work with Service Management to assess live incidents and identify their root causes to continuously refine and improve the testing strategy, addressing quality issues that lead to such incidents.
Define and manage a strategy for creating and maintaining reusable test data sets to support all testing efforts.
Drive quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of accountability for product quality.
Ensure the testing strategy supports continuous integration, automation, and modern software delivery practices.
Requirements: Proven experience in defining and implementing quality strategies in a technical software environment.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and achieve buy-in across teams.
Experience in responding to live incidents and adapting test strategies to prevent future occurrences.
Expertise in coordinating testing efforts across multiple teams and ensuring quality for interdependent systems or projects.
Familiarity with modern testing practices, tools, and methodologies, including automation and continuous integration.
Ability to assess current testing practices and identify areas for improvement.
Experience of test strategies and tooling that relate to the following technologies will be an advantage: Java, JavaScript, Node, TypeScript, Terraform, Ansible, Packer.
