Job Title: Test Equipment Support Engineer Salary: up to £41,500 per annum dependent upon experience
We currently have a vacancy to join one of the world's leading, global defence, security and aerospace companies as a Test Equipment Support Engineer.
The role will be based in Portsmouth and requires the successful candidate to be on site full time but offers the opportunity for flexible working hours.
You will be joining the In Service Support team which consists of 14 skilled engineers dealing with MoD contracts, some that are 50 years old, to be maintained for the next 15-20 years.
Carrying out safety testing, PAT and HAV
Maintaining calibrated assets, documentation and SAP records
Maintaining current assets for usability and safety updating and repair where necessary
Designing and building new test equipment when required

Electrical/Electronic Engineering background
Good knowledge of Microsoft office packages
Software coding
You must be eligible to apply for SC clearance and, therefore, must hold a British passport and have lived and worked in the UK for the past 5 years
