Test Engineer

My client is a leading IT Service provider working within the Government Security Space.
The are currently hiring a Test Engineer on a 12 month (216 days) contract which has been determined to be within IR35.
Job Description    Produce Test Documentation such as Test Plans, Scripts, Bugs and Reports as required for new Features, User Stories, Patching, and other events.
Develop and maintain Automated Regression Test Suites for client applications.
Develop and maintain other Testing capabilities such as Performance Testing for client applications.
Perform functional and non-functional testing of client applications.
Including manual testing in cases where automation is not technically possible.
Maintain the existing Cypress Automated Regression Test Suite developed for the Content Server application in West.
This enabling its use to test future Releases of the application or other events such as patching.
Maintain the existing JMeter Performance Test Suite developed for the Content Server application for West, so it can be used to test future releases of the application or other events such as patching.
Perform Accessibility Testing of the OpenText applications through the use of both Manual and Automated tools (e.g.
Axe & Wave).
Consult on other Development and Testing activities.
For example, but not limited to Best Practices, Continuous Integration, Non-Functional Testing and Operational Acceptance Testing.
Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) for the Test Service provided Provide support on the End User when requested by the client The role will be on an end user client site, which can either be based in the South West of England or Central London.
