Test Engineer/Hardware Operations Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer/Hardware Operations Specialist to join a well-established and successful broadcast technology company.

This newly created role involves ensuring the highest quality standards are met, from the company's outsourced manufacturing partner through to order fulfillment.
You will collaborate closely with the manufacturing partner and internal engineering team to resolve production issues, recommend procedural improvements, and maintain production test environments and equipment.

Responsibilities
Conducting pre-ship testing and licensing Performing manufacturing investigations and diagnostics Carrying out RMA investigations and diagnostics Managing hire equipment licensing and return testing Providing on-site training for manufacturing staff Overseeing manufactured assembly management Maintaining the production environment Performing technical repairs and modifications Requirements
Applicants should have a background in electronic/electro-mechanical testing with strong diagnostic skills and previous experience working with script-based testing.
Experience with outsourced manufacturing partners, particularly in low-volume, high-cost product environments, is important.

Additionally, a good level of IT knowledge, high attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.
A full UK driving license and access to your own transport are required, as the role involves travel between the company's office and manufacturing partner.
