Job Title: Tender Manager Reporting To : Subsea Business Unit Director Location : Aberdeen, UK - Hybrid 2+ days in office per week The Tender Manager role reports to the Subsea Business Unit Director and leads the development of proposals for the supply of the full range of Beam's service lines, often including integrated services and technology lead solutions.
The role is responsible for ensuring that all tender submissions align with Beam's commercial guidelines and strategic objectives, contributing significantly to the company's growth and market presence.
The Tendering Manager must be a team leader, comfortable challenging others, have great relationship building skills, be a confident customer negotiator and have an unwavering drive to succeed.

Upon joining your objectives and responsibilities will include: Business Development & Growth Collaborate closely with Business Development (BD) and Sales teams to identify new opportunities for business growth.
Contribute to decision-making processes related to new opportunities.
Assist the Business Unit Director & Chief Revenue Officer in defining and implementing targets aligned with strategic objectives.
Proposal Development & Coordination Support the Tendering Team in the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals.
Analyse client requests for quotations, compile technical requirements, perform cost calculations, and conduct risk assessments.
Program works and draft execution schedules, incorporating high probability opportunities into the corporate vessel schedule.
Coordinate larger and complex proposal submissions, ensuring the end-to-end bid process is effectively managed.
Ensure proposals meet high-quality standards and align with Beam's objectives Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise effectively with subcontractors, partners, and supporting departments/functions to ensure seamless coordination during the tendering process.
Lead reviews with the executive team to gain approval for risk approaches.
Attend clarification meetings with clients as needed.
Provide support during customer negotiations to facilitate deal closure.
Documentation and Reporting: Assume responsibility for all associated handover documentation in the event of a successful award.
Generate reports for internal key stakeholders to monitor progress and outcomes.
QC and support wider Tender Teams' proposals Establish and maintain a library of reusable materials, templates, and proposal elements to streamline future bids.

You don't have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role: A minimum of 3 years experience in tender management, or a related role within the maritime, renewables or offshore industry and demonstrable understanding of commercial risk.
An understanding of the operational requirements for Subsea solutions, e.g.
