Housing Officer - Tenancy Services - 3 Month Contract - From £21.75 per hour - Walsall & Stafford Patch Your new company This is one of the largest housing providers within the Midlands area, offering a general needs housing service for thousands of customers.
The company is looking for a Housing Officer to join the team that proactively manages their patch in Walsall & Stafford in line with organisations policies, procedures & professional standards.Your new role Your role as a Housing Officer will be to deliver a high quality tenancy service that meets the needs of the customer.
This focus will be delivering excellent housing management services that reduce the risk of tenancy failure through appropriate interventions.
You will proactively manage a caseload of anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches, safeguarding & tenancy fraud cases in line with company policies and procedures.
This role is initially a 3 month contract with a review for a further extension closer to the time.
What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a general needs housing officer position, including identifying the needs of the customer and tailoring the support required as necessary.
You will need to be hands on with direct experience of dealing with complex ASB & safeguarding cases and systems management relevant to Housing (preferably Northgate).This role will also require someone with a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.A standard DBS will also be provided if one is not already held.What you'll get in return This is a temporary role, paying a minimum of £21.75 per hour + expenses.
