Are you an experienced Payroll professional looking for a temporary part-time position?
We have registered a rare opportunity to join our prestigious Client, on a temporary basis, in this vital role.
This on-site role is being offered on a part-time, 28 hours a week (excluding lunch breaks) across a minimum of 4 working days per week.
Please only apply for this role if you are available immediately and able to commute to the office daily.
Temporary Payroll Officer Responsibilities Management of monthly payroll Posting the monthly payroll and reconciliation of all payroll control accounts Act as the first point of contact for all payroll related queries Working with the HR team to support relevant new starter and leaver payroll processes Preparation of all statutory HMRC payroll reports and returns Providing ad hoc general support to the finance team, as required Temporary Payroll Officer Rewards A competitive hourly rate is offered alongside holiday pay. Temporary Payroll Officer Requirements At least 2-3 years experience in payroll management Knowledge of payroll and finance systems High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisational skills and a methodical and structured approach to work Excellent IT skills, including a good knowledge of MS Office with particular proficiency in Excel Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) A proactive and positive can do approach Strong team player Demonstrable experience of working to tight timescales and deadlines Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities The Location Our client is situated in Central Oxford (OX1). Unfortunately, due to the City Centre location there is no parking available. However, the offices are very easily reached by public transport.
