Temporary Medical Secretary Job description Due to sick leave Teviot Medical Practice is currently looking to employ a temporary Medical Secretary to join our busy Administrative Team foe 3 – 6 months.
20 hours per week Applicants must have good secretarial skills and experience Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage, but not a necessity as training will be given Microsoft Word and Excel to a high standard is essential Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are required Flexibility and commitment is expected Experience with dictation would be advantageous Attention to detail is essential Main Duties include: Transcribing dictation Processing medical and insurance reports Subject Access Requests (SAR) Raising invoices and managing Petty Cash Multiple admin related tasks Communicating clearly with all staff High level of accuracy required at all times Band 3, Tier 1 - £26,869 pro rata Closing date 24/01/25 CV and covering letter to Carol Messer Practice Manager Teviot Medical Practice Teviot Road Hawick TD9 9DT NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
