Temporary Assembler We are currently seeking a skilled Temporary Assembler to join our client's small team in the ST7 area.
This role involves hands-on assembly work, using various tools and techniques to create high-quality products.
The position is ideal for candidates with experience in assembly work, wiring, and operating hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities of the Assembler role: Assemble parts and components according to specifications and diagrams Use power tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers) to fasten and secure materials Perform basic wiring and electrical assembly tasks Inspect finished products for quality and ensure all specifications are met Operate hand tools for cutting, shaping, and joining materials Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure efficient operation Maintain a clean and organised work area to meet health and safety standards Skills and Experience Required for this Assembler role: Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on role Proficiency with hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, and wrenches Basic understanding of wiring and electrical components Strong attention to detail and ability to follow assembly instructions accurately Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to work efficiently as part of a team Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow them diligently Details of this Assembler role: Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2pm Duration: 3 months Hourly rate: £11.44PH Free onsite parking Location: ST7, Kidsgrove Please note that Pertemps will only contact applicants who have the relevant experience for the position.
