Temporary Administrator working in the public sector in Central York Your new company A public sector health care organisation are looking for a temporary administrator to work on an on going basis, initially for around 2 months.
The role is full-time Monday to Friday and offices in central York near to the train station.
Your new role To be the initial point of personal contact for patients accessing the Referral Support Service.
This includes discussing with patients by phone choice and care options available to them.
This will involve receiving and providing multithreaded and sensitive information about health conditions and lifestyle changes.
There could be resistance to the information or barriers to ; The role will also involve liaising with alternative providers to discuss waiting times, using the NHS e-RS and Accenda Integrated Care Gateway software and all other appropriate IT sources.
To undertake booking of patients into clinic appointments, services such as intermediate tier 2 services and hospital outpatient clinics and ensuring that choice and booking outcomes are satisfactorily completed to a high standard for all patients To maintain paper and software support information and administrative systems which support the delivery of a professional commissioning support service.
To ensure that all complaints, comments and suggestions are dealt with appropriately, in accordance with policy, resolving where possible and escalating to appropriate manager as required Have a flexible/adaptable approach to their work in order to review a minimum of 70–80 referrals per day whilst also meeting other different deadlines Inputting into, monitoring and printing reports from computerised systems as required.
What you'll need to succeed Previous and recent admin experience and excellent telephone skills.
