The primary purpose of this job is to support the sales team by taking responsibility for all aftersales work to ensure our customers are cared for and that this side of the business grows.New Customer DevelopmentResponding rapidly (within 2 hours) to incoming requests for aftersales support from customers.
Maintaining an accurate, up-to-date log of all despatches to customers and following them up in a timely manner to a) ensure satisfaction and b) gain further business in the form of aftersales work.Handle all enquiries for spare parts, providing rapid quotations for customers and following up to get the order.
Working with the relevant teams to ensure on time delivery.Handle all the service contract work (both planned and reactive) and work closely with the operations and scheduling department to ensure maximum efficiency.Achieving sales growth in this side of the business.Existing Customer DevelopmentPlanning, preparing, and visiting existing customers, if required (when age qualified)Providing a strong account management customer enquiry service for all of your allocated accounts:Managing enquiries by phone initiallyComplete quotation follow upsCompleting 'Project checklist' for the External Operations Team where no quote is requiredProactively request referrals from existing clientsCollaborating well with other function managersFollowing all Health and Safety procedures as outlined in the Health and Safety Policy, ensuring a tidy and safe workplace at all timesCarefully maintaining Coveya vehicles and cleanliness at all times and adhering to the Company Vehicle PolicyAdministrationAttending at and fully contributing to all weekly sales meetingsAttendance at Weekly 1:1 meetings with Sales ManagerAttendance at the daily Huddle meetings with Sales ManagersManaging emails and referring appropriate emails to the Operations teamMaintain CRM daily with details of customer contact, activity, opportunities and pipeline managementKey Performance IndicatorsCommitment to uphold the company values in your role dutiesAchievement of KPI's as set by your sales manager and agreed with yourselfAchievement of growth in your category and meeting of quarterly targetsAttendance at Accountability 1:1's and daily Huddle meetings with a clear plan for next weekJob RequirementsPerson Profile and Experience:Energetic, enthusiastic and with the determination to excelAccuracy and attention to detailExcellent communication skillsAccount Management skillsStrong Sales skillsAbility to work to tight deadlines and within financial budgetsStrong time management, organisational and problem solving skillSalary £30k.
