CCL Global are currently recruiting for a Steelworks Tekla Designer to be based in Bristol, the successful applicant will take a leading role in the delivery of technical solutions on the HPC & SZC projects throughout its Design & construction.
Location: Bristol, UK.
Type of Contract: Contract inside IR35 (12m+) Key duties will include: You be involved in the wide-ranging building related to Civil/Structural Engineering Design activities undertaken by our Site and Office teams, which will include: Producing steelwork platform designs compliant with the Eurocode3, ETC-C and internal guidances, under the authority of a senior CAD Lead Liaising with the building layout and Civil teams to coordinate the design, Maintaining QA procedures in delivering the Steel Works design Working with the Steelwork engineers in the preparation of the design drawings/models Reporting progress in team meeting Requirements: Design office experience Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations Experience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering would be advantageous Knowledge of 3D tools, and capability to produce high quality 2D drawings.
