Role: TechOps Manager (UK)

Location: London, with the expectation of one day a week in the office.
Hours: As required to manage shift-based teams and services.

Role & Responsibilities: Ownership and development of Technical Operations team, processes, policies, and documentation with counterparts in other regions.Ensuring continuous delivery of the 24x7x365, follow the sun model.Measuring, monitoring, and managing service delivery to ensure compliance with SLA's and drive performance.Facilitating the transfer of knowledge, skills, and capabilities throughout the global team.Managing the onboarding and offboarding of new staff and their secure computing needs to ensure delivery into business as usual.Management and development of the Service Operations, including ticket management and improvements, target setting, PDRs, regular team/1-2-1 meetings, and identifying training needs.Service reporting and MI for customers and business stakeholders.Handling and managing escalations and acting as Incident Manager in the event of P1/P2's.Conducting service management meetings with internal and customer Senior Management.Applying best practices and appropriate governance for the services to be aligned with customer and regulatory compliance requirements.Identifying and coordinating Tech Ops projects/initiatives that support the business.Participating in BCM and Incident Management Planning and execution.What we're looking for: Hands-on knowledge of platforms and technologies including M365, Atlassian suite, Enterprise SaaS systems (SSO), Entra, MS Active Directory, MFA, etc.Senior role(s) in customer-facing, managed services environments.Managing and developing support services for organizations with an internationally distributed development capability.Writing and implementing processes and practices to meet industry standards.Monitoring and reporting service quality.Team performance management, target setting, and developing service and support engineers.Ability to use own judgment to challenge exceptions and enforce good process.Ability to communicate with key users and stakeholders at all levels.Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Good organizational and change management skills.Exposure to standards including ITIL, ISO27001, SOC2, 14001, etc.Nice to have: Financial services sector experience and an understanding of regulated environments.Experience managing internationally dispersed service desks and resources.Experience using SharePoint for knowledge management.Project management skills.This is an exceptional opportunity for a self-motivated candidate to own a Service Operations function in a managed service environment and take part in developing the global service offering.
