About the Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead software development teams within our Swan Retail and EPOS Bureau business units.
This role is pivotal in driving technical vision, guiding architectural decisions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions aligned with company objectives.
You will manage multiple development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration while delivering on ambitious product roadmaps.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in software development, with 2+ years in leadership roles.
Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and modern development practices is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as .NET, Java, and React is also necessary.
Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automated testing, is a must-have.
Proven ability to manage complex software projects and mentor diverse teams is essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing a strategic vision for the software development function, leading and mentoring multiple development teams, overseeing the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, tracking and reporting on KPIs, supporting presales activities, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, managing relationships with external partners and vendors, and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and security requirements.
