What you'll do
As a Technology Governance Manager, you will manage and align the governance of Technology, coordinating activities across Networks, D&IT, CTAS and Vodacom Technology teams as well as collaborating with other Vodafone functions. You will work with Technology's business manager community to ensure actions and deliverables for Technology are managed and submitted on time, to a high-quality standard and are fit for purpose for the target audience. The role requires close working relationships with senior leaders in this global organization and will be required to create presentation content intended for director level audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
This role requires a highly capable, motivated, energized and flexible manager who has the breadth and depth of Telecoms knowledge and Business understanding.
To support the Technology Governance Programme Manager for operational activities on behalf of the Technology Leadership Team including co-ordination, action review and quality control of input.
To establish, manage and monitor effective reporting of all key stakeholders and executive governance bodies.
Coordinate and represent Technology in various cross-functional bodies and SteerCos
To build relationships with the Technology leadership community in order to deliver effectively.
To partner with HR and Comms specialists to drive the Internal & External Communications strategy for Technology
Who you are
Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience
Experience in Technology and/or Business function and strong technical understanding of Telecommunication Networks, IT and Product & Services.
Experience in working in virtual and multinational teams, with proven record of delivering goals in matrix organizations
Ability to understand and communicate strategic issues at Board/Director level
Ability to work pro-actively on a day-to-day basis with minimum guidance on ad-hoc requirements
Ability to manage multiple & changing priorities and take accountability for decisions made.
Strong communication and presentation skills with proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
