NI Trucks - Nightshift Mechanic We have vacancies for qualified and experienced Mechanics from all automotive backgrounds to join our nightshift team in Mallusk.
Based in a busy workshop environment you will be fully trained and you will be required to undertake all levels of maintenance, repairs and major overhauls as well as completing standard servicing and diagnostics.
The successful candidates must be capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion and you may be required to undertake PDI work as well as road testing vehicles.
Candidates must have the following attributes: Be apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds level 3, BTEC or NVQ in relevant course or equivalent.
You must have a practical knowledge of modern diagnostic equipment/techniques.

Desirable A full, valid driving licence.
Working hours and salary Monday to Thursday 1700 to 0315, 40 hours per week Salary up to £47,079.76 depending on experience and qualifications (inclusive of nightshift allowance) Flexible overtime available payable at time and a half of normal rate Weekend overtime available (not mandatory) Monthly technician performance bonus scheme Benefits 30 days holidays (including bank holidays) The Company operates progressive learning and a skill-based pay scheme for qualified technicians (depending on qualifications and experience).
Opportunity for training on vehicles which adopt the latest engineering technologies applied to engines running on diesel and alternative fuels.
These include natural gas (CNG), battery electric, hydrogen fuel cell and biofuels.
