Technician Team Leader Permanent Full Time Leighton Buzzard 40 hours per week - 11am to 7.30pm £28,000 to £30,000 DOE My client is looking for an experienced technician Team Leader to support their team in meeting lead times and prioritising overdue and urgent orders.
As the Team Leader you will work across two departments reporting to the Laboratory Manager.
You will ideally have previously worked in a laboratory / manufacturing sterile environment.
You will be working in a sterile, clinical setting with no natural light due to the nature of the manufacturing process.
Hours will be 11:00 to 19:30 Monday to Friday.
Technician Team Leader Responsibilities: To work alongside the twilight team and manage the day-to-day processes To manufacture contact lenses in an efficient manner, reducing scrappage and ensuring all lenses are of a high standard.
To follow all training and Work Instructions in full To keep a clean, safe, and tidy workspace and report any issues or concerns to line manager.
To clean down all areas of dry and empty the hoovers as required.
To receive and prepare product for quality control checks from Manufacturing department.
To inspect product ensuring product is in good condition and measures within set out company tolerances.
To carry out the product sterilization process.
To complete final checks of the product before despatch.
Person Specification: High level in attention to detail Previous experience in a supervisory / Team Leader role, ideally in manufacturing Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
