We can promise you rewarding work which makes a real impact, the chance to learn from inspiring colleagues from across a growing, global network and opportunities to grow personally and professionally.Our competitive package offers a wide range of benefits and rewards.The positionThe Technician will be responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of PV solar equipment systems in the UK with the support of the Team Leader.AccountabilitiesUndertake scheduled preventative maintenance and servicingCarry out corrective maintenance; fault finding, troubleshooting and repair on all solar PV systems which will include mechanical and electrical diagnosis on Power InvertersProactive repair or component replacement to prevent complete failure or system downtime ensuring the highest level of Solar Plant availabilityProvide out of hours and weekend responseEnsure compliance with all health and safety requirementsAssist in providing solutions to the Technical ManagerConduct training lessons to enhance other employee's technical knowledgeReport all maintenance works carried out using computer based service reporting proceduresKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceService Engineer with Solar PV backgroundTroubleshooting and Fault Finding experienceKnowledge of Power InvertersComputer skills; word processing, spreadsheets, email, management and reporting systems, including the use of diagnostic and troubleshooting toolsWilling to work overtime on weekends, bank holidays and on short notice.Valid UK driver's license and acceptable driving record
