Technician

Your new company Is a leading public sector employer.
They have appointed Hays to recruit a technician to join their team.
This is an office-based role, and you will be working from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (flexibility required).
The position is expected to last until the end of this year.
Your new role As a technician, you will perform a range of routine technical or practical tasks and have the ability to understand and employ established technical practices and procedures.
You will be conducting manual handling activities, moving items e.g.
mannequins within the organisation from one location to another, and working in a clean lab with fake blood, fake medication, and the aforementioned mannequins.
What you'll need to succeed As Technician, you will have 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) to include Maths & English.
The ability to understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
Have experience maintaining and updating records.
Knowledge and understanding of H&S requirements e.g.
Manual Handling, COSHH and Risk Assessment.
Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft suite and work well as part of a team.
