The key duties will include, supporting the teacher in preparing work, maintaining tools and machinery, setting up machines and resources for woodwork and other technical lessons.
This will be an ideal job for somebody who has experience of working with machinery and materials, though training can be provided.The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of team to educate young people and enjoy supporting young people to develop skills.LHS has a great track record of supporting young people academically and into the workforce locally.Machine awareness certificates, or willingness to undertake these, supported by the local authority will be a requirement.Our employees make good things happen in the day-to-day life and for the longer term future of Argyll and Bute.
