About the Position We are seeking a Technical Web3 Product Manager to join our team, focusing on delivering and scaling our new flagship product, Rayls.
Rayls is the only EVM-based system that blends the core privacy, scalability and compliance demands of traditional finance (TradFi) with the speed, innovation and access of decentralized finance (DeFi), to create a UniFi'd blockchain ecosystem.
Rayls achieves this by connecting the Rayls Public Chain (an EVM L2, where all users are KYC'd) with an ecosystem of EVM permissioned Subnets that enable privacy, scalability and interoperability, all at the same time.
As Technical Product Manager, you will work side by side with the Head of Product to extend the Rayls Private Subnets product (our core product, already 2 years in development) to drive further adoption by our institutional customers.
What You'll Do • Lead the product development lifecycle from requirements gathering into regular releases, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Prioritise and and maintain a product backlog, defining features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories.
• Promote the Agile development process, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
• Define and maintain quality standards for products and features, working closely with QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and technical documentation.
• Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, QA, and project management.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating communication and ensuring a shared understanding of product objectives.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies, working with Rayls's Head of Product to recommend new product development opportunities.
• Foster a positive culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Product team.
You Should Apply If: •You are an experienced (6+ years) Product Manager with a strong technical background, such as a Computer Science degree or experience working as a software developer.
• You have a deep understanding of Web3 / blockchain / crypto technologies, with at least 5 years working experience in the space.
• You have experience working in financial services businesses, such as banks, fintechs, or building financial software.
• You have demonstrable proficiency with at least one modern programming language (Python, GOLang, Javascript, etc.).
• You have a proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products in an Agile environment.
• You are able to work independently and feel confident making decisions with minimal direction from management.
• You are highly ambitious with a go-getter attitude, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• You have a bias for action, problem solving and getting things done.
• You are a strong team player that understands that strives for a perfect team dynamic.
• You are highly proficient with PowerPoint, storytelling, and ability to communicate complex topics in a simple way.
• You have outstanding written and verbal English skills, able to create a common understanding between different types of internal and external stakeholders.
• You are culturally astute, able to connect with people from many different backgrounds and nationalities and are experienced working in an international setting.
