Your new company A great opportunity for an experienced ICT Engineer to become an integral part of the team in a reputable emergency services organisation in Wales on a Temporary to Permanent basis.
Role: Provide 2nd-3rd line support to end users Hardware, software, and network management Carrying out project work and upgrades to ensure no system downtime IT vendor management - negotiation, renewals and escalation resolution Responsible for the security and integrity of the ICT estate Uphold standards and best practice - SLAs and security Maintain and update documentation Ensure the optimisation and efficiency of control room systems Manage budgets and bids Be the 'go-to' person in the ICT team for technical issues and queries Ah-hoc travel between sites along the coast Experience to succeed: Minimum 3 years working in a relevant role Current working knowledge of Microsoft applications and server systems Confident in providing hardware, software, and network support Worked in a fast-paced and varied ICT environment previously Excellent time management and able to prioritise workload effectively Successful track record of ICT project execution OK getting NPPV Level 2 security clearance What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
