Technical Support Nutritionist

Moores Animal Feeds Limited is a well-established company in the local animal feed industry, with a strong reputation for manufacturing quality products and providing an excellent customer service.
In order to strengthen our exisiting team we wish to invite applications for the following position: Technical Support Nutritionist (Ref: TSN1124) The successful applicant will be responsible for developing the technical aspect of the business as it continues to progress within a dynamic industry.
This includes an advisory element to offer technical support to our customers, as well as to other areas of the business including the sales, quality, and raw material procurement teams.
Being a new position, the role can be tailored to suit the skills and experience of the successful applicant, and provides an ideal opportunity for career development.
Essential Criteria Third-level qualification in Agriculture, Animal Science or related discipline.
Sound technical knowledge of animal nutrition.
Ability to work on own initative and as part of a team.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Desirable Criteria Experience in a commercial role, especially within the animal feed industry.
A broad knowledge of livestock production and nutrition across multiple species.
Working knowledge/experience of industry-specific IT software including formulation, Feed Dynamics, feed-to-yield software etc.
