The Warehouse team focuses heavily on automation which includes 40 miles of conveyor linking everything together across our sites, hundreds of storage and picking robots - a very fast moving, continuously changing part of NEXT Technology.
The roleWe are seeking a talented and passionate Technical Support Analyst to join our team in the Warehouse Systems Technology department.
This is a first-line support position which will require shift work across weekdays and weekends and has a hybrid working requirement post-training, so please bear this in mind when applying.
You will work Mon-Fri on-site whilst training within probation so being able to commute to our South Elmsall complex is key to this role and your success.
You will provide support to Warehouse & Distribution users across the business on a number of existing systems whilst testing in-house developed system enhancements and bug fixes with an understanding of the business impact of the incidents received and prioritise accordingly.
There will be escalation of high priority and business impacting issues to the relevant individuals and ensure the integrity of data by recording all actions for Incidents and Service Requests in the ServiceNow Service Management tool You'll also work closely with the functional team, development teams and key business users to keep everyone up to date and head off any issues that might be on the horizon.
In addition, you'll also use and enhance our in-house technologies.
This will involve a range of tech, such as: Incident logging systems such as ServiceNow Google G Suite, Warehouse Management systems You'll be doing all this on site from our South Elmsall complex.
