Job Title: Technical Service Manager Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Circa £55K + Bonuses + Pension etc We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Service Manager to lead our Service Team, managing both internal and external client systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the HVAC Services Division, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving the growth and profitability of the department.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate, organise, and manage the HVAC Services Division workload, ensuring timely and profitable completion of projects.
Collaborate closely with the Service Operations Team, scheduling manpower and materials efficiently.
Develop strategies to increase sales, including promoting preventative maintenance and service contracts.
Prepare quotations and proposals based on customer requirements, performing cost analyses to ensure profitability.
Conduct regular job site visits to monitor service quality and address customer concerns.
Oversee motor fleet management and ensure compliance with company policies.
Manage training, performance appraisals, and health & safety requirements for the service team.
Liaise with HR and Payroll on any employee-related matters.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
Relevant industry certifications and licences.
At least 8 years of progressive experience in Mechanical Services, HVAC, or Facilities Management.
Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with reading schematics and work plans.
Ability to close sales and maintain strong customer relationships.
Full, clean driving licence required.
