Technical Services Coordinator - Data Centre - East London

A leading main contractor that is prominent in the UK and European data centre market is seeking to bring onboard a Technical Services Coordinator for mission critical team in London.
The successful candidate will initially join a live project in East London, get their feet under the table and then taken a recently acquire, and upcoming project in North London.
As Technical Services Coordinator, you will report directly to Project Director and have ultimate responsibility of MEP operations and be the first point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders for the scheme.
The ideal candidate will boast sector experience and have experience delivering large scale mechanical and electrical packages.
The data centre industry is on a massive upward curve, new clients and contractors are entering the market week on week and the need for sector talent and infrastructure continues to grow.

Responsibilities: Contribute to the regular Project Report and attend Project Meetings.
Review designers and contractors' drawings for completeness of information and compliance with contract requirements (specification, ER, etc).
Check ongoing installation for compliance with contract requirements (specification, drawings, etc.)
Produce weekly and monthly reports on their projects or provide information to support the overall project report.
Provide input in the production of the project programme.
Provide expertise in planning and executing the building services commissioning.
Responsible for the delivery of the building services works or the elements there off on the project, and on those of personnel/engineers under their supervision.
Operational responsibility for the delivery of building services engineering works in terms of Health and Safety, programme, and quality.
Attend, and chair where appropriate, meetings with the Client, the designers, specialist contractors, and other team members.
Bring a strong importance and emphasis on QA/QC standards.
Required: Experience working in the data centre, semiconductor or life sciences industry Experience in a heavy design focused role Excellent client facing ability and forward thinking approach Familiar with new technology in engineering and building services Educated to third level in field of building services/trade background also considered Carer ambitious with long terms plans of climbing the ladder This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate, with the right attitude and approach.
