Technical Sales Specialist

Role Purpose To manage technical enquiries through to sales orders applying subject matter knowledge to differentiate business lines portfolio.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks Manage and update technical documentation/sales literature for key technologies.
Interact with client representatives and internal co-ordinators to develop solutions for customers.
Develop business cases for technology applications and forecast impact to profitability for business lines.
Work collaboratively with workshop and operational teams to deliver required solutions.
Communicate with clients to interpret their requirements and prepare technical proposals and quotations ensuring the request for quotation (rfq) is fully understood and maximized to Centurion's scope of supply.
Prepare Commercial invoices and delivery notes for equipment/sales deliveries to clients.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to clients.
Negotiating contracts and reviewing terms and conditions (alongside Centurion's legal team).
Reviewing cost and sales performance.
Recommend new technology development for business lines.
Early engagement with customers to identify technology gaps and budgetary assessment of equipment against the potential market.
Ensure awareness of emerging technology markets and identify business line entry.
Deliver technical presentations to client base and industry forums.
Interact with other business lines to identify other routes to markets of key technologies.
Represent Centurion at external key trade shows and events.
Measure improvement in margins on key customers.
The job holder may be required to carry out any other related or associated roles, tasks or duties, which they can be trained, instructed and supervised to do safely and according to changing business requirements.
Contribute to maintaining a positive QHSE culture by taking reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others at all times.
Be prepared to challenge unsafe acts and behaviour and report these using the correct reporting procedures.
Be disciplined in completing mandatory training assigned relevant to the role designed to help protect the safety and security of the organisation and its employees.
Desired Profile HND or higher qualification in Engineering / Science or equivalent industry experience.
Subject matter expert with demonstrable strong technical product knowledge Understanding of geomarket market activity and assigned customers percentage of this activity Good knowledge of all standard software packages, for example, financial tools, CRM, Microsoft office suite, Insphire.
Key knowledge in subsea operations, ROV tooling and decom packages.
Considerable experience in the application of subsea services.
