Technical Sales Manager

Responsibilities include:Establish a comprehensive understanding of the full company catalogue and forming a strategy around this knowledgeBuild and maintain comprehensive working relationships within the rail market – acting as a key representative for the brandProviding technical support where required, demonstrating an ability to tailor specific approaches depending on the customer – understanding their exact use cases and different applicationsWork in a pro-active manner to create a work pipeline that will further expand presence within the marketArrange meetings with clients as well as representing the business at related networking eventsWork collaboratively with the wider business to inform strategic decisions – providing market insight within your specialism and support the decision making processThe Ideal candidate:Previous experience within the rail sector is essential for the role – knowledge of how the sector operates and the ability to build upon previous relationshipsPro active attitude – being able to be involved with a project from start to finish, as well as contributing to improvements and efficienciesBackground in an electrical engineering discipline such as cabling would be highly beneficialComprehensive communication skills – ability to communicate efficiently across all forms (phone, email, face to face)Flexibility to be able to travel to various sites, managing your work diary around your responsibilities in an autonomous wayThe Package:Competitive salary (up to £70,000 depending on experience)25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)Bonus schemeRemote positionPrivate health insurance benefit after initial 3 monthsCar allowance (negotiable)
