Technical Sales Engineer Suffolk, with occasional travel to sites throughout the UK Permanent, full-time Competitive salary plus benefits Dedicated to supporting USVF defence sales and commercial contract activities and being an extended member of the Adler & Allan commercial function, the role is focussed on supporting the acquisition and delivery of USVF contracts securing new and recurring work and meeting revenue, gross margin and EBITDA targets for all services delivered on USVF bases in the UK.
More about the role: Managing the recurring minor maintenance repair (RMMR) contract process from task enquiry receipt to invoicing.
This includes quoting each task, procurement of materials, scheduling resources with operations and the client and ensuring completion reports are written and issued within one week of task completion, and then finally issuing the invoice.
Expediting delivery of materials procured for RMMR tasks and where instructed for the sustainability, restoration and modernisation (SRM) contracts when required.
Production and obtain approval of risk assessment method statements (RAMS) for RMMR tasks to meet approval periods set down by the appointed persons (APs).
Support identification of non-fuels service line opportunities across USVF bases (e.g.
drainage surveys & repairs) working with group business units to deliver competitive quotations.
Engage with USVF base facilities management contractors (e.g.
Vivo & Mitie) to identify opportunities for all group service lines and manage the order acquisition process through contract placement to post completion review.
Support management of the key stakeholder and contract relationships of a portfolio regular spending accounts including conducting periodic contract and relationship reviews.
When required provide commercial support for specific tasks on the SRM contracts.
Meet activity and outcome KPIs jointly defined by yourself and your manager as suitable for achieving growth objectives.
Support the Commercial Manager to build and manage a growth pipeline that is visible and clearly reported and use this to support the company forecasting process (MLO).
Support new contract and contract renewal negotiations.
Collaborate well and work closely with the Operations teams to ensure the smooth running of RMMR tasks.
