Role Overview: As a Technical Sales Specialist, you'll drive business development in the energy storage and power generation sectors.
This includes identifying and engaging large power consumers, developing tailored energy storage solutions, and collaborating across teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
You'll play a key role in advancing renewable energy initiatives while contributing to the strategic growth of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new opportunities within the large power consumer market.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their energy needs.
Lead sales processes, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
Collaborate with engineering teams to design customised renewable energy solutions.
Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity.
Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
Your Profile: The ideal candidate will have a proven background in technical sales and a strong understanding of renewable energy systems, including energy storage and generation technologies.
Key Requirements: Proven experience in business development or technical sales in the energy sector, with a focus on solutions like battery storage, backup generators, CHP, or solar PV.
Strong technical understanding of energy storage systems and renewable technologies.
Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to manage long-term client engagement.
Strategic mindset with the ability to work independently and meet sales goals.
A degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Background in green-field renewable energy project development.
Familiarity with planning, land negotiations, and grid connection applications.
Located in the North West, with the flexibility to travel across the UK.
