Technical & QC ManagerLeMieux has an exciting opportunity for a Technical & QC Manager looking for a new challenge in a fast-growing global equestrian company.Role Overview:As Technical & QC Manager, you will be required to lead and manage both the technical operation and quality control processes with the organisation.
The role will involve overseeing the technical aspects of product development, ensuring high standards of quality are maintained, and driving continuous improvements in quality and processes.Key Responsibilities include:Manage a technical and QC team to implement and uphold LeMieux's exceptional quality standards across all product categoriesManage fitting of Rider wear through all stages of style development from prototype to bulk production.Monitor and elevate the quality of the product and constantly evaluate and improve the fit of the garment, ensuring a consistent fit throughout the department and across supplier base.Oversee and update the supplier manual, ensuring it is communicated to internal stakeholders and suppliers to keep them updated on any changesManage internal QC team and warehouse team daily to align with inbound stockEnsure regular communications with operations team to mitigate any quality checks ahead of product launches and ensure timely deliveries.Maintain accurate and clear communication to relevant departments for efficient flow of outbound stockSchedule and attend regular meetings with returns department to keep abreast of any issues and compile necessary action plans where appropriateAttend weekly meetings with suppliers to discuss fit/quality issues and address improvements to be madeOversee fitting process with buying and design teams, updating and implementing tech packs and specs for new productsResolve QC issues by managing intake and assign relevant QC checksSet up internal QC and inspection reports to be communicated to suppliers and internal teamsBuild and manage a block library for all rider wear, working closely with suppliers requiring QC supportSuitable applicants will display the following:Degree qualified in related field or industry equivalent experienceProven experience in a similar role is essential; preferably in sportswear/performance wear/equestrian wear.Comprehensive understanding of garment fit and make up and confident in grading and sizing.Solid background in liaising and building relationships with overseas factoriesExcellent people management/leadership skillsStrong communicator that is organised and able to confidently presentOrganised, with the ability to manage their time according to the critical pathGood working knowledge of pattern-cutting, construction and manufacturing techniquesDetail focused with high level of accuracy in technical analysis and quality inspectionsAbout usLeMieux's committed global trade and distribution network, vibrant customer and rider community, unrivalled technical expertise and specialist colour flair have made our rapid growth possible.
