CLICK HERE and book your place today!Your Tasks You will train to work towards Commercial Procurement and Supply Practitioner level 4 (as recognised by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) with the Purchasing team to manage the supply base and deliver the service required to support a busy manufacturing operation.
This will include: Make enquiries for materials and services, negotiating prices, placing orders, checking Order Confirmations, analysing supplier performance and getting involved in projects.
Learn the Purchasing SAP system.
Work on general 'apprenticeship' projects and making short presentations on your progress.
Develop your general business knowledge and understanding.
Our Requirements Good standard of education with a minimum of 5 GCSE's including Maths and English with at least C or Level 4 grades.
Competent user of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Good verbal and written skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Well organised, efficient, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Background or interest in Engineering/Technical processes is preferable.
